I really adore Cameron - especially Cameron post-JT. I'm looking forward to this movie.

Don't watch horror flicks. My life is stressful and anxiety-ridden enough so it's comedies only these days.

People think she was great in Being John Malkovich. I'm not one of them. She seems to constantly play Cameron Diaz. She's not the only popular or well-paid "actor" guilty of this. Some have performances that they hit out of the ballpark. Something About Mary was that for her

I agree, E_P. I don't mind her in films that play to her strengths (fluff comedies, that is), but I wouldn't call her a great actress. She just does what she always does and in the right format it's funny.

I'd like to see Cameron in a horror flick

I think a horror film signals the beginning of the end of a career. Hilary Swank did one recently and you haven't seen her since. And she's won 2 Oscars for pete's sake. I think Cameron needs to do more serious stuff. She's damn near 40.

I like Cameron in the comedy stuff..liker "My Best Friend's wedding"..she has goofy part that I really enjoy..

I agree also E_P and Clepiau, she really isn't a good actress. She can only do one type of role (happy physical comedy) very well. I loved Being John Malkovich but I thought her part should have been played by someone else. She was passable, just not great. And I thought she was completely horrible in Gangs of New York, which otherwise was a great movie.

I think she actually could be pretty cool in that type of role.

Light-hearted and fun? Branching out a little bit? Not quite the truth.

Cameron starred in Scorsese's Gangs of New York. It was nominated for an Academy Award.

We remember Cameron best in all those funny movies, but she has never been a one-note actress. She's the real deal.

I like horror movies.I want to see it.

Glad she's doing something different. I've never been a huge Cameron fan...her acting is so-so, but I do enjoy most of the movies she's in.
