We love us some reality TV and this summer NBC is delivering a new dating show called Age of Love starring Australian tennis player, Mark Philippoussis. The 30 year old pro will be dating one set of women in their 20s and another set in their 40s so we can learn if age really matters in this game of love.

Mark has dated the likes of Paris Hilton and Australian singer Delta Goodrem, but this time the superstar is looking for love and leaving it up to NBC to help him find the woman of his dreams. Oh and did I mention the show's host is Mark Consuelos?!! You know, Kelly Ripa's beautiful and sweet husband. That's reason enough to tune in. A special thanks to NBC for sponsoring this post. Check out the premiere tonight at 9pm on NBC.

This looks interesting but I can predict the drama already: The 40 yr olds have ton of baggage and the 20 yr olds are really immature.

Umm yeah this should be ....interesting a has been quasi-tennis star and some desperate ladies and NBC is hoping for a reversal of fortune in ratings, clearly not with stupid reality show.

just go play tennis! what is this guy doing? trying to boost his fanbase? yeah, i'm not buying it b/c we all know reality shows are semi-scripted and edited for more effect anyway, so this guy's final choice might not even be his own.

oooh tiabia you know the only colour you gonna see in a reality dating show is those crazya** ghetthoes on Flava of Love. The closest you ever get to it on these shows is pretty latinas and maybe an asian to cover the"diversity" out there.

@ tennischick: yeah, he was dating Alexa something-or-other, but I think they broke up sometime last year (well, obviously)...

Let me get this straight, NBC's formula for rating success = douchey tennis "star" + desperate famewh*res. No wonder the network has terrible ratings.

The Bachelor got old a long time ago, and this is no different. This dude seems like a publicity wh*re. Why else would he date Paris and do a reality love show? Puh-leeze.

I find shows like this to be so offensive....have no interest in watching. It's all about these poor pathetic woman catfighting for the love/attention of ONE man. I just find it degrading. It is the year 2007, woman can go after whatever they want.

Awful! Such a reality would be boring. Will they use mud fights? Yawn. Go play tennis or wait for Paris' release.

I know nyar!!! While I unfortunately do find Flavor of Love and I Love New York entertaining...they are far from showing the reality of people of color..a la, class and education...LOL

maybe if he wanted love he shouldn't have cheated on delta (while she was recovering from cancer) with that deposit box Paris.

as a tennis fan who remembers Mark's potential, i am deeply disappointed. however he did memorably mess up his ankles a few years ago at Wimbledon and was never the same after that. so i guess you gotta do what you gotta do to pay them bills!

Nya and T, I agree with you BUT you know the people of color with class WON'T be on a show like this. There is this misconception that because you are white or something you have it. sh*t, look at Paris! But really, they can't really put a black "cougar" woman on there because she will most likely look like a "kitten". Darker skin ages a LOT more slowly than fair skin.

There is nothing more cringeworthy than watching shows like this where women throw themselves at a man on national television and get into cat fights. This one will be interesting because of the age difference. But like most TV, you won't find me watching this except maybe catch a minute here or there of the last few episodes.

"i'm 40 my man 24 i think he will pick the older woman were seasoned mmmmmmmmmm...."

These days 40 isn't even middleaged. Seasoned sounds more like 65+ or something. 20 vs 40 is like both ends of the young spectrum, in the big picture.

haha this is the type of trashy tv i get sucked into while all the other good shows are on hiatus. he does seem a bit sleazy having dated an 18year old and paris hilton. i'm betting he's going to choose the youngest and most vapid girl possible.

Fromt he previews, this show looks pretty dumb. It's amazing that every single one of those gals, no matter the age, seem to fall for him or develop feelings. A bit strange that he clicks with all of them! I dunno - doesn't look to good. He's hot, but the concept is weird.
