Zooey Deschanel is pretty much the coolest ever, as further evidenced by her completely adorable June Jane Magazine cover. I love all she does and I am super hopeful that she and Mary-Kate will at least share one scene (that will include spirit animals in some capacity?) on the best show ever, Weeds this season. Since that's not nearly enough Zooey, it was awesome to hear that she just signed on to co-star with Mark Wahlberg in M. Night Shyamalan's new movie The Happening. Though I don't love M. Night's recent movies, I can't wait to see these two together. As for the Jane article, as usual Zooey is awesome:
"I'm scared for young women, because we're not necessarily progressing. People think it's good to use sex as power. They think that's new. Flaunting your body, going around half-naked and being sexy to get your way—it's so missing the point," she says. "We're not even talking about the fact that women still don't have a strong enough role in running the country."
