Sounds like to me Jessica is looking to get into the "A" list crowd and Pappa Joe thought John Mayer would do it but it didn't work out. Therefore if he is seen talking with her other "A" listers may warm up to her in turn more movie offers for her. Honestly, she needs to give up acting she is not an actress.
