I do not think i want vanessa as ont to look at for role mode for teens pregnancy.i mean here is a girl who is on live tv on new years on mtv where mostlly teen watch.she gets on there and curse like a sailor and then later you here how mad nick gets at her for the way she acted because of her being drunk.

I've read the tabloids, and I haven't seen her linked to anybody but Nick since she started dating him. Must be nice for Nick this time around to know his woman is strictly with him and not every Tom, Dick or Harry. I hardly call her a gold digger, especially dating Nick Lachey. Hm...I think that dress is too cutesy for her. I like it, but it doesn't seem to go well with her. Now for me, say if I was having an engagement party or rehearsal dinner....I think it would be faboo!

As for the other stuff....I don't think the cursing has anything to do with supporting a cause you believe in. I agree with the people who said that having a "real" person, one they've seen be real and make mistakes, might have more of an impact rather then someone who is "high and mighty".

While yes, abstinence is the only sure fire way to protect against pregnancy, I believe it is important to educate our youth and not turn a blind eye to the fact that they ARE having sex. Educating them about contraception and maikng it available will help reduce teen pregnancies as well as STD transmission, which is highest in those under 25. I would ask you to look to European countries for proof that this works, as they have the same odd amount of younger and more teens having sex but have much lower pregnancy and STD rates because of the extensive sex education and availability of birth control. (Just finished a class on this, not pulling info from my butt. ^^)
