Gwen is super excited about her single 4 in the Morning and even confessed that it's her favorite song on The Sweet Escape. She decided to have a simple video this time around to let the lyrics speak for themselves. We're loving the song but not quite sure about the bathtub and rolling around on the bed scenes. What do you think?

I use to adore Gwen in her No Doubt days, but when she went solo I got a little bitter towards her. This is my favorite song, but I am warming back up to her. I have to admit she looks totally stunning in this video.

I don't like this song, the video is boring. But still love Gwen she just looks stunning in the video. agree with the bathtub definitely could have done without. She shouldn't try and be sexy she's too cute and beautiful for that.

I agree it's boring...I stopped watching after about 2 1/2 minutes or so...and she is bustier than usual. I'd rather hear some No Doubt...supposedly she'll be back with them again soon. Who knows!

I also think that she should grow up and sing about more adult things but whatever I still love her. I think that she thinks that the teen boppish songs will sell better or hey maybe shes an eternal teenager and loves singing about that time in life.

Forget about Madonna and Underneath It All, Gwen is clearly channeling Marilyn Monroe towards the end of her life. I like this song--sounds like a tune No Doubt would have done.

Oh, and I forgot--totally Mariah Carey as well(remember M's propensity for frolicking in bathtubs?). In fact, this song, while sounding No Doubt-ish, has "We Belong Together" elements to it.

I haven't watched the video yet but I did read all the comments. I miss No Doubt too, alot! But I love Gwen, ♥ Gwen. She does sing about being pregnant and more "adult" things on Sweet Escape. She can sing anything and nail it imo. Have you ever heard "Sail On"? Go Gwen! Rock this sh*t straight back to Anaheim until your 99!

I really like the song now and I didn't at first. I also like the video, its different. Her videos are usually so hyper, colorful and sometimes too busy. This one's laid-back and just focuses on her and really nothing else. Its sweet and matches the theme of the song. I don't see how she's NOT acting her age.

i think she looks great for 37. i agree with some of you that the material in some of her songs are just kinda juvenile. but this one's not to bad. ^_^" this one kinda reminded me for jessica simpson, "i belong to me" for some odd reason. and i like her clothes in this video. they look a lot better and a lot normal-er than what she usually wears. and the whole eyeliner-not-on-the-pillow thing--that was the first thing i noticed when she turned her head! XD

I really like this song, too. And it totally brings back Underneath It All memories. It's kinda cool to have two similar videos and see how much her style has changed since the UIA days.

It's ok, nothing earthshattering. She looks good in the video, she reminds me of Madonna in her Justify my love days.
