If it's so easy and rewarding to her, why is she soliciting her MySpace contacts to text donations to the foundation she named after herself and her boyfriend?

only $10,000? Exactly, she can auction a couple of purses and clothing and i'm sure it will surpass the $35,000.

i'm sure she's got dj am on her mind...it must be hard for her.

She is selfish to me. She can give that money! She wears 10,000 dollar gowns for petes sake!

Average American can barely afford food for their own families...much less a playground for kids.

Love Nicole. She's hopefully turned her life around and is focusing on things that benefit others and not herself.

i think that it's nice that she's realizing that she can make a difference and that there's something to be said about using your powers for good rather than evil. i think that having a baby and having all these life changing things happen to her in a short amount of time just showed her that there are more important things that she could be focusing on, and i'm really happy to see that she's doing all these great things.

i hope that their foundation is able to reach the goal that they've set and i'm sure that they will.

I dont think she has a lot of money to give to charity. She doesnt "do anything" according to most people, remember?

And I think all of her 10k gowns are loaned or given by the designer to get name recognition or something.

Its more important to raise $$ b/c it builds awareness (I think).

This kinda reminds me of that movie with Jennifer Aniston in it, Friends With Money I believe it was called.

And Jen's character was so pissed at her friends for spending money on their expensive charity functions instead of just GIVING the money to charity and being done with it. And they were like "because this is what rich people do - shut up!" LOL!
