Uou can buy an island in some parts of the world for less. With three decks, I'd expect more than 6 bedrooms. Some of the kids might have to double up.

But the Sun article you link to says the Rome boat builder just got an order for the boat, and not that it's built yet, so it seems unlikely they could use the alleged boat in Europe next month.

I don't believe British tabloids. They always seem to be wrong. In any event, I do wonder what their travel picture is going to look like once their oldest starts Kindergarten. Will they still be shuttling all over the world? Will he have tutors rather than be in school?

This does sound kind of far-fetched, but if it's true it would be so cool to be able to yacht around the world. Plus, the kids would probably have the best time ever!

It's most likely not true... but how cool would it be to "live on a boat" while Mom films a movie?? Haha.

140 million dollars for a boat. Well good gosh. That's a lot of boat. For 140 million it better read someone to sleep. But it would be cool to stay on one for vacation.

Pop - I think you converted the price wrong - I did initially. I think 70 million British pounds is 36 million dollars - still a hefty abount, and it's being the Sun UK said it's being BUILT.

So whats happening to the manse in New Orleans? Didn't they state that is where they were going to put down roots? Ange put Maddox in school there, stated she was going to become involved with the school system there. Now they are once again BACK in L.A.?? Poor Maddox, just getting used to belonging in a school, where he was involved with children of his own age, just to be uprooted once again...

This nomad lifestyle might be fine and dandy for the adults.They CHOSE that kind of jet-setting lifestyle... But children NEED, stability, continuity. These poor kids, are going to end up resenting the fact, that they don't know where they are going to end up, on any given, day, week or month. It might be fine and dandy while they are small, but Maddox is now 6 yrs old...he should be in school...if she plans on homeschooling him THAT is fine, but stop putting him in a school only to yank him out weeks later.

It's ridiculous. Now they are going to "live" on a yacht for a few months, while Mommy plays movie star??

It is a way for them to be private. I think it helps with the security issues also. It's a bit hard for paparazzi and kidnappers to get on a yatch! I hope this boat will help to take the pressure off them. It's a hard job being wealthy superstars

even if this happens to be true...good for them! they help so many people and do so much for others that im glad they are doing something for them. who cares how much they spend on a yacht? i think they deserve a getaway like that and you know what? its harder for the pap's to get pics of them in their yacht than on land so another good for them. i think its sad that some people say they should donate to less fortunate when that is so much of what they do that people are expecting them to give all their money to others now. they work damned hard for their money and go through alot of crap for every. single. decision. they make that i think its about time they do something for theirselves even if i dont think this is a true story!

Meg, 70GBPs equals $138 million USDs. According to today's exchange rate, it takes almost $2 to equal 1 pound. British currency has been worth way more than American money ever since the Euro was introduced.

At any rate, I call BS too. They may be wealthy and have no idea what either of their net worths may be, but that just seems a little extreme.

I'm calling BS as well. I can't see them spending that kind of money for something like that. They'd also have to hire a whole crew of people to run it and just....no. They might indulge in nice houses and other things but they don't seem the type to me to use that kind of money for that. But Brad is looking good. I miss seeing Brad and Angelina. They are good about being private even the haters must admit....
