With Amy leaving SNL is gonna be in trouble Wigg or whatever her last name is is like the only funny person left.

TRL was SUCH a huge thing when it came out. But music isnt music anymore and it is time for it to end. Now MTV will be strictly tv shows and they will change the name to just _TV.

TRL has not been the same since carson left..imo

Awww, I remember the good 'ol days of TRL. When Carson was hosting and it was all about the music as they played FULL music videos. It was what you kind of looked forward to when you got out of school...going home to watch to see where your favorite vids landed on the count down or your fav musician performing.

Anyway, enough reminising. hahaha. Sorry. I'm not surprised to see it go.

And I love Amy Poehler...kind of glad to see her going off to do other things and of course take care of her baby.

Amy is so funny. I love Kiirsten Wig, but SNL is losing its grip and needs some new people to bring it back. TRL ended years ago and I cant remember the last time I saw a full music video on MTV. Now I just watch them on YOUTUBE.

I haven't watched TRL in years anyway . I do think it's sad that Amy is leaving SNL because she is hilarious .

sad news about amy - she was the main thing that was holding SNL together ... i wonder if it's gonna go the same route as TRL.

i can't say that a lot of us are surprised that TRL is going to be cancelled even if they say that it's a temporary thing. we've seen the show on the air for ages and it's kind of tired at this point. celebs make their rounds there so it'll be interesting to see what the alternative will be - but we'll make do and survive i'm sure

i think that it's a good decision for amy to take the time for herself. she's certainly going to have her hands full with a little one and to have antoher project in the works - well that's something that's going to keep her busy as well.

it's nice that Tom's getting honored for another accomplishment - and he should be proud of everything that he's done in his career thus far

congrats to marissa - it's got to be a nice thing to get a gig like that - a nice campaign and a great paycheck i'm sure.

that's a shame about richard - pink floyd really was an iconic group and i hope that his family and friends are doing ok

TRL..I loved it when Carson hosted. Now that they've got like 2 or 3 different people each episode hosting, I'm really not into it. Haven't watched in a long time.

Aww I'm sad that Amy Poehler is leaving...I agree that the only funny woman left is Kristen Wiig. I like Fred Armisen and Seth Meyer too. But who is going to host Weekend Update now?

Not sad about TRL ending. I haven't watched it in a looong time. I miss when they actually played full-length videos.
