Christian Bale shopped for motorcycle gear at Alpinestars in LA yesterday, loading boxes onto his pickup truck and changing right into his new pants. The actor looks ready to hop on the Batpod in his gear, which is perfect for the news that The Dark Knight will be re-released in January. Looks like Christian and his costars are going to be on everyone's mind during Oscar season, but to hold us over until then, we can enjoy watching the actor with his fashionable real-life sidekick.

i guess it's good news for him that the movie's getting rereleased - since it'll keep him relevant until his next movie comes out. i kind of hope that it gets nominated and that people win awards for it. it was quite the impressive movie with a lot of great acting.
