Big Brother 9: Eviction 11 — Lisa Appleton

It was an oh-so-close result on Big Brother last night — as our poll results predicted — but Sara won out and Lisa was evicted with 52.6% of the public vote (at the time or writing our poll has Lisa at 53%... spooky!).

At least now she'll have plenty of time to plan her wedding to Mario Marconi following his proposal when he briefly re-entered the house last week.

She wore a bizarre outfit to exit the house — a little painful on the eyes — and her bright red bra was showing proudly through her sheer top. In the absence of FabUK's expert opinion, I can say I was definitely not a fan of this look — but what do you think of her mismatched patterned outfit from last night?

After she made it down the stairs in a fairly safe fashion, she started showing off her engagement ring excitedly to the waiting photographers. I think the wedding's going to be quite an eye-catching event, especially with the cash-injection of £25,000 that she won on the show. Are you curious to see the Mario/Lisa wedding?

So, finally, were you happy with last night's result? And what did you think of Lisa's interview with Davina? Let me know!

I'm pretty surprised Lisa's out actually. I thought it was going to be Sara for sure. Her outfit was really hideous but I thought her interview with Davina was quite cute.

Sara got the pity vote, definitely, because of the Darnell incidents. If people had been given another week to decide - especially after the pool antics with Darnell - I think they'd have voted differently. That's not to judge Sara, no one can behave normally in the BB house, but I think she'd have lost some of that pity.

I don't watch BB, but those boots are shockingly bad. I won't even comment on the rest of the outfit.

To be fair, I do think that Sara has been bullied and I think Rex is especially ascerbic (sp) and aggressive in his bullying towards everyone. I'm surprised so many people are gunning for him to win, judging from the cheers he got from the crowd when they were announcing which number to call for him to win ... I really hope he doesn't.

ACtually, you know what Lisa's outfit reminds me of? One of those Magic Eye puzzles - you know, the kind where you have to kind of make your eyes blurry and something suddenly appears in the picture?

I agree that Sara's behaviour is more a defense mechanism and response to being bullied. You're all alone in the house so it's natural not even flirty, to try to be liked. I think youd lose so much perspective there too. Rex has been absolutely horrible.

Oh, and I have no explanation for Lisa's outfit, it's just baffling.

Thank you, Macneil! I thought I was the only person to really despise Rex for his bullying ways! He's always on the attack - especially to nice people, like Rachel for example. I've never heard him say a nice thing about anyone, which makes him a character and less boring, maybe, but it's not an excuse. And I thought he and Nicole made an even WORSE team, b/c they seemed to gang up together on other people.
