Woody Allen flicks never do well at the box office and neither did this one. Perhaps because he kinda married his own would-be daughter? Beyond creepy.

with all the stars that have signed onto Nine - i think that we will all have high expectations but i'm sure that it'll deliver. i'm sure that the happy couple isn't too upset with jav bowing out since they did just work on a movie together and sometimes it's better to have a bit of separation.

little k, I think it's because his movies aren't main stream. They're very hard to follow and understand.

I was asking around at work yesterday who liked his movies, and out of the 15 people I asked, only ONE said he enjoyed Woody Allen movies. I think he's an acquired taste.

I really enjoyed Vicky Cristina Barcelona, I'm usually not interested in Woody Allen's films but this one was fantastic. It may be because I love Barcelona and Spain, but the movie was very well done!

I saw Vanilla Sky, but that was such an AWFUL movie I don't remember anything other than Tom Cruise was in it.

I will probably see Vicky Christina because of Scarlett, but other than that, nope, didn't know she was an actress. LOL

You're very likely right Robin, but I don't get to watch much TV these days. It's going to be even worse now that the kids are in school. Hockey starts in 2 weeks, Scouts starts next week and on and on. If I'm not playing chauffer, I'm playing teacher and helping with homework. It's a never ending cycle! (THAT I LOVE!)
