i love to see this mom and son duo and i wish that i got to see them around the city but for some reason i'm never in the party of NYC that celebs are at the right time.

as for the lawsuit - you knew that something was going to come of the product line. mind you there are tons of other celebs that are associated with it - but i guess she's the one that's getting nailed for it all. oh well. i 'm sure that i'll work itself out

The poor kids had how many "uncles" in the last couple of years? It's got to be confusing and a little sad for him to keep getting attached to people who are then taken out of his life.

Some children are just serious by nature, I've found. But I would imagine that having the paps in the face of any child would be fairly traumatic for sure.

She has cut his hair. But he still chooses to wear it long like his dad is what I've read. A couple months ago I read he was thinking of cutting it short like Lance's, but I guess he changed his mind when that uncle went away.

You know, I am pretty sure it's possible to get him a shorter-yet-still-long and cleaner haircut that still makes him look "rock 'n roll," if she's really that desperate for him to have long hair. I feel sorry for this kid; he seems more like an accessory and another way for his mom to feel loved and wanted.

He is so cute. I think both Kate and Chris are fantastic parents to their son Ryder.
Probably the reason why he doesn't smile is because of all those paps keep interrupting his time with Kate, which is understandable from his kid point of view.
As for his hair, I don't see any problems with it. Some kids like their hair short and some like Ryder, like their hair long. He sees that his father has long hair, so he wants his hair to be like his fathers, which is okay.

I saw pics of him when he was 2 and his hair was in the middle of his back. His hair looks like it needs more of a wash then a cut.

I read so many things, even once that Kate was honoring some Jewish thing and not cutting his hair until he was 3, then after that it was some different reason. Bottom line is MOMMY LIKES LONG HAIR AND DOESN"T CARE WHAT ANYONE ELSE THINKS.

I love that he looks so much like both parents! Its cool cause some kids look more like one parent then the other. Kate's beautiful blond hair, nose and mouth and his fathers eyes, the shape of his face and his personality.

i seriously doubt that he had any say so about his hair since Kate has been keeping it long before he could even say how he liked it or not liked it.

Same with ms jolie, she's had that maddox's hair in a mohawlk since before he could talk.
