i can just picture michelle chasing after matilda down the street - kids are impulsive like that. i'm sure that matilda knows better right? i think that it's great how much she resembles BOTH parents - so that way they will always have a piece of heath with them.

I'm not sure what kind of mother I would be if I were a star with paparazzi always around. Do you always hold your child like Jennifer Garner or try to let them have a little fun and run like Michelle does? It's a tough call. Either way, both girls look very happy.

Mayeb63, I'm glad that she lets Matilda run around a little. I'm sure that she wouldn't do it if she was being crowded, considering how many times Matilda is in her stroller or holding on to her mom's hand. She's a little girl, and they're going to take the pictures regardless, so it's probably fine just to let her be.

Mayebe63 - I get the impression that the paps don't get as physically close to Michelle and Matilda as they do to Jennifer Garner and Violet. You see pictures of them being swarmed as she's putting her in her car seat. I get the impression Michelle and Matilda are being shot from farther away.

Plus, I think that Michelle is able to play the sympathy card - they seem to be more respectful of her personal space, especially after Heath Ledger overdosed.

Seriously, the resemblance between Heath and Matilda is uncanny. I love the picture of her running down the street, she look so happy!

Unfortunately for Michelle they come to her and stake out the small neighborhood she lives in. For someone not interested in celebrity exposure, just trying to give her child a normal life and let her run and play on her own street, I'd imagine it must be very bothersome to spot paparazzi hiding out on every corner.

Which isn't to say I don't agree the shot of Matilda running is so sweet and full of mischief and life that it's awesome. lol

Pop must have removed them Lisa, cuz I don't see them either. I was going to come unglued! LOL She's a big child for her age, turning 3 in October, but she's by NO means fat! LOL
