She wasn't dating David at the time, I think she might have still been married then (possibly a stepkid?). I assumed he was hers because of the way she felt comfortable scolding him. He was having a fit, and she was throwing it right back at him! Made me uncomfortable, and probably everyone else in the produce/meat section! Gotta give her a grain of salt though, being a parent is difficult!

I was at the supermarket one day and this little kid, maybe 3-4 years old was having a tantrum and laid down on the floor crying, screaming and kicking and his mother just walked away from him. I couldn't believe it. I went over to the kid to see if I could calm him down and someone said, "Oh you have to just let them get it out of their system." WTF????? At least get the kid out of the store. I was very upset at the mother. That's just wrong.

When I was a little kid I knew better then to throw temper tantrums, especially in public. I don't think I ever did. I will have to ask my mom. I have 7 brothers and 2 sisters, I wonder if she ever took us all to the store at once.
