She is lucky anybody knows who she is still. Dawson's Creeks was so many years ago and what else has she done that any good other than the first Batman. And she was replaced...easily. She needs to stop acting and disappear for a few years.

I'm not her fan, but i don't understand why are some people so bad with her, because she really seems to be a good woman. Tom and her seem really in love with each other. And it's very hard to have great success with theater, so it sure isn't her fault if it doesn't work. And it isn't because she doesn't smile to the paps that she is unhappy. Why should she smile without reason? Every day there are post about her: "hey look her hair", "hey look her shoes", "hey look her face", "hey look her nail polish" please give her a break.

Is anybody actually surprised that a play starring Katie Holmes is having issues with slow sales? She isn't exactly known for being a talented thespian. She is known for a crappy teen drama and marrying Tom Cruise. Those things won't exactly draw the theater goers in.

Channeling JackieO indeedio. This Arthur Miller lagging tickets are so old coming from US weekly. This is going to be like mix bag of blessings but I think its a very smart move for her career.
Julia Roberts tickets for her play was good business but critics panned her. Jennifer Garner got excellent reviews but her play was lagging ticket wise too.

Now some of the media morons and tabloids are advising Katie to shed her clothes and do sexual projects so she can lure viewers.
Talk about trash and I admire Katie more if she is not desperate enough to stoop low to those type of projects just to get publicity.
Just because you are naked and doing pornesque stuff does not make you an amazing actress.

How can many people afford this expensive Arthur Miller play? They increased it too. Im even almost fainting with the increase of the Disneyland and Universal ticket that's almost a $100.000 now for each person. The play for Katie cost $200. and that's not even the best seat in the house.

That haircut just doesn't flatter her at all I don't know if its the shape of her face but she just looks so much older she looks about Tom's age! I don't think a lot of people can rock this super short haircut Rhianna looks great in i Katie unfortunately not so much.

I don't see what's so wrong with her either. She married a nut, so I do question her judgment there, but otherwise she seems like a nice person and a good mom.

I can't resist saying that I sorely miss her bob, though. That haircut was so beautiful - precise and as shiny as glass. But it's rare that I think a very short haircut on a woman is becoming.

In my observation she is very nice not to act witchy towards this animals. Other actress we have seen give paps the finger or cuss at them even shove computers like Denise Richards did and many more.
I dont buy the sadness act. Katie has always been shy and sports that sad look after all she did get her part as Joey Potter and many film roles including Batman because of that sad longing in her eyes.
They called it the doe-eyed look. Its also the same allure Audrey Hepburn had catching the eyes of many directors with her famous doe-eyed look.

She's a blah TV actress, and I don't get why I should support someone like that. Just learning your lines and showing up doesn't do the trick of selling tickets, but I'm sure eventually all the $cientomologists will be made to go there and troll the blogs afterwards (like they're doing it here already), saying how great an actress she is. It's sad for her co-stars but that's life.

i actually saw katie and tom coming out of lincoln center after seeing a performance of south pacific last night. they were both incredibly gracious and nice to people asking for photographs and autographs, and interacted much more politely with the paparazzi than i would have expected.

katie looked very cute in jeans, heels, and a black blazer, and yes it was chilly in new york city last night, especially to be going to the theatre. also, katie is rather slim, and probably gets cold more easily. and when i told her that i liked her hair cut, she smiled and said "oh thank you so much!" just like any other girl who gets compliments on her haircut.

i am only sad i didn't get to see suri.

oh and tom IS short.
