well - like all other shows, i'm sure that they ask the starlets to re-shoot certain things, or perhaps to say certain things, but do we really care of it's scripted? not really - it's a guilty pleasure and it's not going to change the world.

i kind of wish that heidi would just go away though - she's REALLY annoying, and she doesn't add to the show at all. i read in this week's US weekly that Whitney's BF will be on the show a bit more, and that there are a few other men in the season that we'll see that we haven't before. WOO HOO more eye candy for us!

The Hills could be more bearable if Speidi would go away. Its been awhile since they had there fall out and they still talk about it like it happened yesterday. I guess its the only way Speidi can be involved in the show. Also, hate how everyone kisses Lauren's butt so they can be on the show as well.

I think the most real people in the show are Whitney, Lo and Lauren. They've been the only ones to not use the Hills to try and make get them Acting jobs and Music gigs (i.e. Audrina and Heidi). Sure Lauren has promoted her clothing line and mark. by using products and wearing her clothing line on the show but those are things shes been aspiring to do for years not just on the Hills. I really like Whitney though shes just so down-to-earth and I think is the real role-model.

I agree KathleenxCouture. Whitney, Lo, and Lauren are the reasons I watch the show. And Whitney and Lauren have had dreams of working in fashion for a long time and they have worked their way up and are now enjoying their own lines, new jobs, etc...
That being said, I can't wait for the new season of The Hills, it's a totally guilty pleasure of mine!

What? Who is to say that Audrina and Heidi didnt aspire to do those things for years and not just on the Hills? And couldnt you say they had the same dreams and "worked their way up" and got new jobs too? I really dont see a difference.

shes gross.everyones saying how shes the only real one on the show. please, shes just a spoiled rich girl. her 'fashion' line is a joke and everyone knows it. it pisses me off how she makes so much money doing absolutely nothing. everything about her is fake. and the 'paparazzi' in the photoshoot makes her look pathetic.

the cover is cute, but i hate when people complain that they need vacations when they get everything handed to them. lauren doesnt even design any of the clothes in her fashion line, and all we see her doing is filming the hills, going out to clubs and shopping. what a terrible life!even though the show is the fake, i enjoy watchin it, but i just wish they would take heidi and spencer out of it already!

I think that it's hilarious that because Lauren was going to be on the cover, Heidi and Spencer wouldn't even agree to be interviewed.

Its too bad that Lauren and Whitney are lumped in with speidi and Audrina. Lauren has wanted to pursue fashion since she was in high school. she went to school in SF and then FIDM. She worked hard at her internship at TV (even if she got the internship b/c of MTV) and now designs her line. The same can be said for whitney and maybe Audrina.

I like the cover picture a lot, its very funny. I read the whole article and it really goes in depth about how the show is filmed and whether it is really a reality show. From the sound of it, it doesn't have a script (although some of LC's lines don't sound like they were made up on the spot, like "I want to forgive and I want to forget you") but they have to know where the girls are going to be so they can set up camera shots and they have to reshoot certain scenes if the audio quality is bad. I'm not a huge Hills fan, but I have to admit the show is addictive even if it is partially scripted. But seriously, this website is on Hills overload. I don't care about LC THAT much...
