David Beckham Hits the Web

David Beckham stopped by his soccer school in Bristol yesterday to meet some students and announce his newest venture. As part of The David Beckham Academies in LA and England, he's launching a new educational website called School Zone which provides soccer coaching advice to teachers and kids. We love that David has gone beyond just being a player to actually teaching and creating a worldwide company to make soccer more popular. This, combined with hearing about how he romanced Posh last week, makes the man even sexier! He scores big time with us.

    I don't think soccer will ever be that big here in the states! I mean with football alone its gonna be hard and then you have baseball and nasketball....I just don't see it being as popular as those sports! But good for him for trying!

    Becks is so good looking, but he's only 31. He looks old for his age in my opinion. I mean he looks about as old as Brad Pitt who's 44. Paul Walker is 33 and looks 10 years younger.

    i think soccer can be big..just give it some time. when my parents were young ..no one played..now almost everyone does. it just takes time. and there are some diehards already (like me Smiling ) although i prefer watching the women..they're better...

    Soccer is such an active sport for men and women, boys and girls and is relatively inexpensive, so I hope that Beckham can "beef" up this sport in the US.
