I loved Sophia on GG--she was my favorite character.

Aw, I'm seriously sad. I used to watch that all the time with my brother and grandma when we were little, and we loved Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot, too!! I even named my first cat Sophia when I was 4.

she was the glue that held that ensemble together, and while i am sad for her passing i am glad she isnt suffering anymore, dementia is a horrible diagnosis to live with both as the patient and the family.

My mom and I used to love watching Golden Girls back in the day. They don't have heartwarming shows like this anymore. Rest in peace, Estelle.

Oh this is sad, but I am sure she is in a better place now. She and the other girls used to make me laugh so much. RIP Estelle!!

GG is probably my favorite show ever, and she was the best part of it.

I cannot imagine a more fulfilled life than hers. Go to any blog or forum today and people are pouring their heart out about how she made them belly laugh...what can it be more beautiful than making other people happy, even 20 minutes at a time?!?
