that "pal" is Lawrence Fishburne's wife Gina Torres who has a nice acting resume herself. She was on Alias with Gardner and also starred as the wife in Chris Rock's I Think I Love My Wife.

Omg I LOVE Alias and I LOVE how they are all still friends (minus Michael Vartan who I love love love even more) . . . I've actually just re-rented Alias starting at season 1 from netflix to rewatch the series again for the several-th time. She was too awesome in that show.

Gina Torres was also very good in 24, season 3.

Does she have an orthopedic problem that prevents her from wearing anything other than running shoes?! I know she's a mom and wants to be comfortable, but come on! I'm not asking her to put on 4 inch wedges, how about a pair of flip flops?

I'm renting Alias from Netflix too I've never seen the whole series... only a few episodes so I decided to just start from the beginning It's good so far (on season 1 ep 4)

I'm anxiously awaiting the second disc so that I can start on ep 4 I hate how netflix only sends one disc of a season at a time
but I am really enjoying the show so far!!

oh yeah... I'm waiting to see what was in the box (in the stadium)... they end the shows in too much suspense! First the nuclear plutonium ball and now the box ... I want to know! And they are going to keep doing that to me right? lol
And I will keep anxiously awaiting the DVDs once I'm done with the 3 eps on each one.

She seems like such a nice person, I really enjoy seeing her an her daughter around. Whatever her secret is to happiness, I want it. On the baby news, her other Alias costar and the man that officiated her wedding (what's his name?) has already confirmed it. She shouldn't confirm until she's ready, early pregnancies are very risky.
