I think Katie Holmes gave her best performance in Pieces of April. She pretty much sucked in every other film she's been. She was great in Dawson's Creek, so I voted for TV.

She should stick to TV

Your poll should have both TV and movies because that's what I want Katie to do. I think its so cool and so rare for a talented girl like her to do everything from tv,movie, and now broadway.

She did tv like 10 years ago in a teen role. I can't base my opinion on just that for tv. I'll try and catch Eli Stone and see.

she should retire. I have always thought that the guy from the cast of Dawson must have killed himself after the first season. Dawson and Joey were terrible choices.

Dawson was so long ago and it feels like she hasn't done much since then. She's super famous b/c of the Tom Cruise thing and she's changed so much since the days of Dawson...

Justingirl it was an awful sci-fi TV series in the mid 80's about aliens trying to take over earth. They were lizard like aliens disguised as humans.

I love her in Mad Money. More comedy for her all the better and its something new for a change other than dramas. She is a talented star and my fave fashion icon. Mad Money had a small budget but raked in 23 million and CNN Money said it was hot on the dvd and rental sales and Overture studio a new studio was UBER HAPPY.

I saw the early screening of TDK and no wonder Katie didnt want her role and so did replacements Emily Blunt and Rachel McAdams.
Maggie G. was forced by WB and she ask for Katie's blessing for it
because the studio had no interested actress for the damsel in distress role.

I dont watch TV much because I think the offers today are not as good as before but I will see anything Katie. Oh my goodness Im a V fan too. It was cheesy but I enjoyed it....pure tv pleasure and I wonder if its available on dvd?

Katie was riveting in Singing Detective,Batman,Pieces of April,Ice Storm, Saturday Night Live,The Gift,Wonder Boys so Im happy she's back in tv. Ofcourse more movies for her all the better and I love to see her Arthur Miller play so Im wishin and prayin I can fly to New York or can buy her expensive ticket. I even think the movie tickets are expensive and park tickets let alone Broadway.

Batman Begins is a great movie, but every scene she was in she ruined and I would have died if she was in The Dark Knight. They bought her contract out, she didn't leave- the kicked her no talent bottom to the curb. She should stick to being mom to that space alien and "wife" to RoboTom.

What fans? She's not talented. Not in the least. She wasn't that famous before Tom Cruise bought her and she's only getting this attention now because of him. Please people, they are banking on her name, not her talent. I always thought she was annoying on DC and I've just never seen what the fuss was about.
And I hate hate hate it people claim you're just jealous of a celebrity when you say you don't like them or criticize them. I honestly don't see what in her life there is to be jealous of. And you can not like someone for reasons other than jealousy.
Bank Account does not equal fashion icon status. She obviously has a stylist people and in my book, that kinda deprives you of being considered a fashion icon.

I voted TV for Katie because I get to watch her and enjoy her. As much as I enjoy her on the movies and Broadway Im sad because Im not among the lucky ones who will get to see it.

Access Hollywood votes prefers Katie in Broadway while L.A.Times subscribers love Katie in the movies.

I have never seen Dawson's Creek but Katie impressed me in Pieces of April,Batman Begins and The Gift. My trio of choices are not in this poll but I have a reason to watch this show now. When Friends and XFiles ended I didnt care for TV and I only watch Dancing with the Stars and sometimes CSI.

I could possibly eat my words later, but I just don't think she has the acting chops for the stage.

She was the obvious weak link in Batman Returns and could just not hold up to Morgan Freeman, Christian Bale, etc.

Still, I think she could do well on a sitcom. Maybe Tom should buy her one.

Yipppeeeee...ABC President Steve McPherson told the excited press that Katie will sing and dance. He said Katie is so exquisite and the episode is not to be missed. I know People reported back that Hairspray producers are also cooking up a musical movie for Katie.

No MyPerry....its called having a life. I only come here for any Katie news. My other favorite actresses are long gone like Audrey Hepburn,Grace Kelly and Natalie Wood and Im sad because I love Annette Bening but she is ignored.

Katie Holmes used to be so cute and sweet. Hopefully this will give her a chance to shine in her own right instead of only being talked about as wife to Tom and mother to Suri.

Also, Eli Stone is really enjoyable, so I recommend checking it out when it comes back in the fall. If you liked Ally McBeal, then give it a shot.

Is this the show George Michael guest starred? With Holmes I might have a change of heart. I cheer on Katie to fly her wings in theatre,tv and movies. This is truly nostalgic because I quit Dawson's Creek because I love Dawson more than Pacey for Joey.
This brings back memories of debates and wars between Pacey vs Dawson over Joey same about Brenda and Kelly for Dillon in 90210.
And I was so P.O. when Friends paired up Rachel for Joey when she is meant for Ross.

I'm glad to see her working again. I liked in her The Wonder Boys but thought she was rather blah in Batman. She's so drawn looking these days though. It's scary.
