I won't be surprised if TARGET pitches in to sell her clothing. I'm sure her line was doing pretty well, just in general the store's overall sales has been bad for the year.

i heard sears or k-mart might be interested, though i think target would be a better fit. or kohls- they carry vera wang's cheap line.

Her clothing line is awful. The clothes look cute on the hanger but the quality and fit is, well, it's what you'd expect for $10 or less.

Cute outfit SJP, I love the colour of her shirt. I've never had the chance to check out her Bitten line so hopefully it doesn't bite the dust (cheesy, I know).

I like the line, I have a few pieces from it that are staples now in my wardrobe.

I'd love to see it move to Target - maybe there'd be a slight price increase but it'd be worth it, imo.

The Bitten line is darling and soooo inexpensive. I do hope another retailer picks it up. Target would be a perfect match for this adorable line of clothing and accessories!

I have a few pieces of her line, and Im not all that impressed. I was impressed by what I got for the price, but Id never go out of my way to go buy something of hers. It was more about me not being able to resist a good price. LOL

The material and cut on some of the things? ack. And dont get me started on the shoes.

i was really surprised to hear this! the steve & barrys by my house does WELL. i have just a few from her line, and it is verrry cheaply made. the imprint on the inside of the jeans i bought of hers wore off after just one wash. i hope it gets better.

Going bankrupt isn't the same as going under. Both Delta and Sharper Image filed for bankruptcy in recent years and continued to conduct business as usual while they reorganized. While S&B may be closing stores, I'm guessing we'll still get to shop Bitten at S&B stores.

I used to think she was pretty (especially in Hocus Pocus, go figure) but her face seems to get longer and longer as she ages. I still love SJP though

that would be a shame if her line went away - but i guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens there. i've been to a steve & barry's store in the mall by my mom's house and i've never bought anything, but it's very OLD NAVY-esque. i'm sure she'll do fine with whatever happens. maybe someone else will pick up the line?
