There's Never Enough Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling showed off a hot new buzz cut speaking about the Enough Project at the 4th Annual Center for American Progress' National Conference in DC yesterday. Before the panel, Ryan found time for a haircut that just makes me want to rub his peach-fuzzy head. The organization, which works to end genocide and other crimes against humanity, has been important to Ryan for some time, and at the event he humbly spoke about his time in Darfur. He said:

  • On being an actor there: "For some reason, there's an interest in what people who do what I do have to say," the actor murmured. "I don't particularly have that much to say . . . but I do have these experiences that I can relay. I'm honored to have these experiences."
  • On his experience: "Not like I was just some actor from Hollywood who was there to have an experience. They looked at me like I was somebody who could really do something. And I didn't consider myself in that way . . . I still can see the way they looked at me."

Ryan even brought a touch of lightheartedness to the panel where he flirted with his fellow speakers and remarked that he's single and to "Do what you want with that." Swoon. (Though I'm still wondering about the mystery woman.) As usual, seeing Ryan so passionate about such a worthy cause just makes him all the more enjoyable.

That peach-fuzzy head isn't the only thing on this man that I'd like to rub...

I'm all for actors and celebs who actually get out there and make a difference. Darfur is a dangerous place and I admire everyone (UN and NGO workers and celebrities) who put themselves in danger to help people. Not like the celebrities who just talk about making a difference from the comfort of their beachfront property...

I watched the Notebook at the beach this weekend (did not spend a minute talking about making a difference in Darfur while I was there, I promise Smiling ) and fell in love with Ryan Gosling and Noah all over again. Love

This guy is one of the ugliest Hollywood stars I have ever seen! Even Leo is better looking than him, and that's not saying much.

Haha, "Do what you want with that"? I think I know what y'all (and myself included) want to do with that.
