Yaaaay Rafa! That match was amazing. I started off the match bundled up in my favorite oversized chair and ended up a few inches from the tv screen. It was a great match, a great moment in tennis and I'm so happy for Rafa! I've been a Rafa fan for years and it's been great to watch someone realize their dreams....even from afar.

On that note...we need some more Rafa here!

I agree megln - I thought I saw either the gf or Roger's mother pat him on the back. I never realized the families sit so close to each other. Glad to hear Roger and Rafa are good friends....unlike the years of McEnroe and EVERYONE!! LOL!

When Gavin's father told the press that Gwen was pregnant (back in January), he said that she was due around the first week of August. So she has a few weeks left to go, people!!! She was only 2, maybe 3 months pregnant at the most when the news was announced so of course it seems like she has been pregnant forever. That being said, I hope I can look half as chic and beautiful as Gwen does when I'm heavily pregnant.

That was the most incredible tennis match I have ever watched. I was completely on edge the entire time! It was heartbreaking to watch Rafa lose to Roger last year. While Roger has been a great champion, this was Rafa's year to shine. He's worked so hard, physically and mentally. I was thrilled for him and his family. Wasn't it great to see him jump up into the crowd to hug his family? He walked across the overhang to thank the Spanish Royalty in the Royal Box...His joy was felt by all. I am looking forward to seeing a rematch!

It was an AMAZING match! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. While I absolutely adore Federer - such a gentleman - I really like Rafa as well. I would have loved to have seen Federer make the history books (again), but Rafa was truly deserving of the trophy - he has improved so much!
Gwen looked so bored, it was embarrassing to see. She had incredible tickets to the best final EVER, and she hardly appreciated it, it seemed. I don't care how pregnant she is. Good to see Gavin getting into it though.
