Good thing Anne dumped him!

I don't understand why Heath didn't update his will when they had Matilda. Hopefully his parents will give her some of the money that rightfully belongs to her. I know he didn't plan on dying so young but i thought when people had kids they updated their wills or made one.

I hope Heather gets the help she needs.

As someone who works in estate law I will never understand why someone would not update their will after having a child. Let's hope Heath's father comes around and better manages this estate.

what a shame about heather - i hope that she gets the help that she needs. i'm sure that there's just been a lot building up with the divorce and all that. maybe she just needs some time away from everything to get back on track.

I agree -- too bad Heath didn't update his will when his daughter was born. I suppose it's reasonable to presume he would have wanted his daughter to be a beneficiary. However, I don't know if I can presume he would have wanted her to be the SOLE beneficiary. There's a difference.
