Kate and Her Curves Win Magazine Lawsuit

Kate Winslet looked fabulous as always (and a little like Madonna, or is that just me?) out with her two kids in New York last week. It's hard not to love Kate, who has always struck me as one of the most gracious and down-to-earth (as lame as that phrase is) celebrities around. This week the actress who has often publicly spoken about being proud of her womanly figure made another breakthrough for "real" women everywhere by winning her lawsuit against Grazia Magazine, which last year reported that she was dieting. She's even planning on giving the money from the lawsuit to an eating disorder charity. She just keeps getting better. Rock on, Kate!

Kate is one of those celebrities that I can find no fault with. She just seems really normal and real, which is such a breath of fresh air. She is one who is famous simply because she is a great actress.

i LOVE her and i constantly see her on my way to work. everytime i see her i want to say something and i know she would probably be incredibly gracious but in ny it is SO frowned upon to even acknowledge a celebrity.

That's wonderful that she's donating the money to girls/women who really need some help! She sets a great example.

At last some common sense coming from the celebrity front! I wonder why not more celebrities could be just sensible like her. You don't have to excentric just because you play other people&characters for a living. I work with toddlers and don't go "goo-goo-ga-ga" in my private life, fer Gawd's sake!
Well done for being a normal sensible person, Kate!
