However, I really am beginning to think that all these ladies "accidentally" getting pregnant is a way to get their man to commit. Hence the shotgun weddings.

Either that or Hollywood just doesn't understand simple mathematics (sex + no protection = babies). That's certainly a possibility too.

Evidently it's the week for shotgun weddings.

My guess is she felt the family pressure to get married before the baby and to not make a big fanfare out of it. I've read in the past that her father is a strong practicing catholic and she has a lot of respect for his views.

I'm not a fan of Marriage but I think it becomes Important when you have kids.

Now their child will have a Legal, Last Name and Stability. Good Luck to them

That's very sweet to hear. Glad she wasn't a publicity-wh*re about the whole thing. Hopefully if they do pocket money for the baby pics they will donate it to charity (that the ONLY way I don't have a problem with stars getting paid millions for pics of their offspring).

So what if it's a shotgun wedding? At least they weren't trying to hide the fact she's pregnant *cough Ashlee Simpson *cough* and props to them for doing it quietly. After all the wedding hype, Eva Longoria, Katherine Heigl, I think it's great that they didn't buy into that.
