17 and pregnant but still looking more graceful than Britney Spears EVER did. Getting pregnant at that young age is nothing to aim for in my eyes, but besides that she seems very put together. I remember BS posing halfway nude at that age running for her first marriage. If she's doing a good job in raising her baby there's nothing wrong with her in my eyes

yah, I feel like while its not ideal, she could have done other things that would have been the easy way out and people would have judged her more harshly. But she is keeping the baby, acting mature and responsible, and actually seems excited about this miracle coming at her. I am proud of her for the way she has handled all of it.

If I had a child who was pregnant, I would hate for her to be ashamed.

she's not the first celebrity to have a child while young, not gonna be the last either...but i do think she is doing the best she can with the situation given. and how many other 17 year old girls have had babys, she's not the first in her age catagory either. unforturnatly she has a camera catching her every move..how annoying would that be if you had someone doing that to you?

Babies are a blessing; her money may help with the frustrations of motherhood...paging the nanny. It's still a lot for a young girl. My mother had me at around her age and was still partying, not mature.

Come on now everyone... we all know she's young and pregnant. No need to keep commenting on it! Obviously getting pregnant at 17 is not an ideal situation, but give the girl some credit. She's living in Louisiana, not LA, and seems to be taking good care of herself and the baby and getting as prepared as she can. Good for her for not going into hiding and lying about it to protect her image!

Nobody attacked Keisha Castle Hughes for getting pregnant at the same age Jamie Lynn did. But when Jamie Lynn does, it's all out attack time. Double standards? Or are you just dissing her because it is fun to do so to a person with Spears as a last name?

People are “dissing” Jamie because she’s young and pregnant. Instead of having her legs wide open and ready for business or her bare ass in the air ready to get busy, Jamie Lynn should have been handling school activities and preparing for college.

I have no pity for this girl or anyone in her family that screws up. They have all the advantages in life, aside of NOT having good parents, and yet they still mess up this deeply. Those Spears girls deserve all the anguish that they incur during life. They brought each situation on themselves.

So I agree with a lot of you.....Teen pregnancy should NOT be glorified like it's a wonderful thing OR the IN THING to do. College and receiving more education is the IN THING to do in life, and it always should be.
