They were so sweet together. I worked on The Strangers and he was there for a lot of the filming. Both very sweet people. It's sad, but they can't stay together just b/c I think there cute huh?

relationships, marriage, is always hard work, if you don´t work on the relationship then its more likely to be doomed. of course in hollywood, you never know how long will it last..
Cause theres so many things against them.. the so called "temptations" your only tempted if you want to, must have time for each other, trust is very important, etc..

I agree CaterpillarGirl! Marriage is hard work!! I myself am not married but my parents have been married since they were 18 and are celebrating their 34 yr anniversary this year. Now that have been in a serious relationship with my boyfriend for 3 yrs my parents are perfect for advice and my mom always says, "You fall in love and then you learn to love. Love is a decision and you will have to work everyday to keep the love alive." It definitely is ALWAYS sad to hear of anyone getting a divorce...I wish them nothing but the best and hopefully they will learn from this relationship for their future.

i read about this a week or so ago, about the potential split and i think that it's a shame. so many relationships break up and they are so out in the open. i wish them the best and i hope that whatever happens with their family - it's ok for both of them. and their child!

SO SAD but I must say, not surprising....the last I saw photos of them together was Halloween....poor Milo!

I don't usually make comments about celebs at all. But this really did make me so sad. I remember reading about the marriage and thinking how grounded Liv sounded. There's just so much brokeness in this world and divorce has run rampent, it's not just celebs that have a hard time staying married..it's seems almost everyone does.

I agree with most of the above comments, especially those concerning the dedication it takes to make a marriage work. It is WORK, but so is anything worth having. Those folks who think it's all about the "good times" and switching partners when things arn't fun anymore, are not happy. How do I know? Because many have admitted as much. Seems they just move from one set of problems to another.

The only consolation I see in this blog is that so many of you are aware of the pathetic state of marriage and are moved to sadness by divorce, as you should be. Good for you. Let's hope we all learn the right lessons from this sadness and work to sustain our relationships, even when things arn't always easy or fun.

I knew something was up when she wasn't wearing her wedding ring at the Iron Man screening. It is sad news, they have been a couple for so long. Milo is adorable.
