We were all surprised to hear that Mariah and Nick Cannon were engaged this week, and even more shocked when they ran off and got secretly married in the Bahamas without a prenup. Mariah was set to appear on The View on Monday, but she cancelled at the last second — to spend some extra time on her honeymoon perhaps? We still haven't heard anything from either camp, but tell us — do you think Mariah and Nick will last?

Either Mariah was jealous of Miley's media attention and wanted a piece of it for herself, or she's knocked up. Why else would someone make this decision? Have people not realized that marriage is not just about the relationship, there's a lot of legal stuff involved as well? You can't just break up and be, oh well, that's over. Ugh.

They definitely won't last. First of all, she's Mariah Carey, a delusional girl who believes in rainbows, butterflies, unicorns and fantasy land while this dude was on Nickelodeon. Besides, she lives a crazy life by sleeping all day and staying awake all night. Mariah is married and only devoted to herself and that's why I like her.

Sorry as I usually more positive about things, but I remember Nick saying on ELLEN show how he could not wait to be a daddy, and how he was a family kinda of man. He was just engaged to the Victoria Secret model at the time, and I just read that Mariah said she did not want babies AT ALL! Never say never I guess is the phrase for the day.

I do not understand why anybody would rush into a marriage so fast. At least neither has children because if they do not work out nobody else will get hurt. I really do wish them the best, Mariah is pretty picky. He probably makes her feel good.
