tis the truth justin i see nothing partcularly appealing abou thtat movie and that trailer with Renee's annoying brathy voice and George's cocky, is that all he can play, character. Like a lot of bad movies I've seen before. If the trailer sucks so bad there is no hope for this movie.

i'm glad that they are almost done with this press tour - i think that it's a nice concept - but there's so much promotion around this movie anyway - that it's over kill. i wonder if they are anticipating lower box office numbers and that's why they are trying to relate more to middle america.

yeah, sign me up for drinks with Clooney- definitely a good time! I agree that they are doing a bit much promoting for this. Wasn't it supposed to be released last year or earlier? We've been hearing about this for a long time now and it's lost a little (just a little) appeal. I hope it does well, but I can't say I'll be surprised if people's curiosity just isn't there any more.

If Leatherheads is any good, it will get a lot of word of mouth viewers. Don't forget, Renee has her fan base, as well as George and if some of the crowd who watches the Office come out to see John Krasinki, it should do well box office wise. They also need to get more younger people interested in seeing it as well. I think they have that 35-55 crowd locked.

It was supposed to come out this winter, but with George's schedule it had to be push back.

it actually is true...i go to clemson university, which is like 30 minutes away from greenville, and my roommate's aunt owns a salon in downtown greenville. she would see him and renee zelwegger every weekend out at the bars next to her. my professor actually sat next to him at a restaurant in anderson (another part of greenville that they filmed) and said he was one of the nicest guys he'd met in a while. so don't doubt him...the hottie likes to party! = )

@clooneywoman, calm down, the movie looks okay. I'm just not a big fan of period pieces that is why I haven't given my two cents. I am anxious to it and I will see it next week when it comes out. I'll post my opinion then.

i go to clemson university, that is nearby to greenville, which is where i'm from...its quite interesting that they liked greenville...my experiences in greenville have been very different...but...of course they are movie stars so they will get start treatment, but greenville isnt all that it appears to be...
