While we can't wait for Beckham and his giant paycheck to come play for the LA Galaxy, it must still be hard for David to have lost not only his captain's role, but his entire spot on England's national soccer team last summer. Perhaps his plans to come play over in the states (where the culture of soccer isn't a way of life yet) have let him relax a bit on the field for Real Madrid, because his level of play is back up to what made him famous. For that reason, England's head coach is reportedly considering bringing Beckham back to the team. Congrats to David for re-proving himself as more than just a pretty face (and body). I don't think I speak for myself here when I say, if it means more of Beckham on the soccer field...hooray.
