I don't watch award shows, but I'm beyond happy that the Dixie Chicks stuck to their guns, and this was one of the payoffs. political or not, the chicks deserved this, they helped bring country music into the mainstream, while carrie underwood is talented, im not sure if she is grammy worthy, the same with beyonce's new album, it was good but def. not the best pop album.

Being from the South and being a Chicks fan is painful at times - especially when you have ignorant, closed-minded followers to contend with (who love to judge but don't like the mirror turned back around on themselves).
