seriously, why is she worried about legal troubles? she's a freaking celebrity. they hardly ever really get in trouble.

I don't think she's going to end up in jail, and certainly not for any extended amount of time. However, we should be clear that this wasn't an arrest for DRINKING and driving. It was an arrest for DRUGS and driving, which is a bit different.

no way will she go to jail. She'll have to pay a fine & go to AA meetings. Rebecca Gayheart KILLED a little kid & didn't go to jail!

id like to point out that "getting a slap on the wrist" is not just because they're celebrities. Most people with duis dont go to jail the first time (granted this is not her first time) and its also very possible not to go to jail the second time. If you have enough money to pay for a decent lawyer its fairly simple so I dont think people should assume her celebrity is saving her, thats not how the law works in most states. I for one dont know anyone who has spent any time in jail for a dui or any similiar offense.

yah, i don't know anyone who was sent to jail for his or her first offense. she wasn't just drunk though, wasn't she on vicodin (w/o prescription) and high off weed too? speeding the wrong way on an interstate is pretty bad though. she might have a hefty fine, lose her license, do comm. service and have one of those ankle bracelets (i saw those were en vogue ).

She is scared of going to jail because she has priors. and these prior offenses are much worse because I believe they involve heroin, so she may really be facing jail time. Although I also believe she won't because of her celebrity.

I also know people who have done some time for their first offense, but not for the first arrest, they usually go when they violate probation 1 or more times, that is where you can get into trouble. So generally, you have only been arrested once, but you f@#k up your probation and may go to jail.

Of course Paris would tell her not to worry...Paris's daddy bails her out of everything! Hopefully Nicole has learned her lesson and is off of drugs.

She IS turning into a bit of repeat offender, be it drugs or alcohol she was driving under the influence of. A little punishment might make her think twice about that. She's endangering other people when she's doing that stuff.

Fact: In El Salvador they execute DWI offenders via firing squad. In Bulgaria, on the second conviction they'll execute you.

All I have to say is that I'm sorry she's not Salvadorian or Bulgarian. DWI is no different than DUI. Whether you're under the influence of drugs or alchol your abilities are impaired. It's all fun and games until someone gets killed.

She has a prior record, anyone else would have been locked up by now.

This would be at least her second drug related arrest and she could possibly have some jail time, but I'm sure a good lawyer could get her a good plea bargain for community service, loss of licence, narcotics anon. something like that.

Gayheart may of killed someone, but it was an accident, she was not charged with a DUI.That is why she did not go to jail.

I don't think she deserves special treatment.

Gayheart was a completely different case.. she hadn't been drinking, she was doing the speed limit and a child ran out from in between cars..if I remember it correctly. That could happen to any of us..

Now Nicole drinking, smoking pot, popping pills and getting caught driving the wrong way on a major interstate..THAT is COMPLETELY different.

And Paris so should have been stripped of her licence! How many hit and runs has that girl been involved in just in the last two years alone? Plus the DUI? Anyone else would have been punished far more stringently.

They do get away with alot, which is why people shouldnt just let it be forgotten how horrible Paris Antics where, racial slurs, biggot remarks and basically disgusting desperate behaviour and sex in return for drug taking. Nicole also shouldnt get away with this legal matter. They need to learn their lessons the hard way as they wont any other way.

I hope she does go to jail. . . rehab from a few years ago didn't help keep her from endangering innocent lives while on marijuana & vicodin, so maybe jail time will do the trick. She will never learn a lesson if she gets away with it. If anything, she'll think she's invincible & probably end up killing someone! Seriously, it's about time that these young "starlets" see judgement day. Oh, why is she a "starlet" again? Wasn't she supposed to make a C.D.?
