JT Smoked Away his Tears

Justin Timberlake is finally ready to open up about the important things...like his appearance on Punk'd back in the day. Timberlake (correct me if I'm wrong) was the first victim ever on Ashton's show and got a little emotional about the prank, which included a crew of people pretending to repossess all of JT's belongings...including his dog. Yes, he totally thought it was real. Also, don't believe the following quote, Justin totally cried. Here he goes:

...But by the time he went solo to record Justified, the committed perfectionist seemed like he couldn't quite hold it together. In fact, he had become a bit of a stoner. Timberlake has previously admitted that Justified was constructed in something of a marijuana haze. That partly explains, Timberlake says, his somewhat bewildered 2003 appearance on Ashton Kutcher's MTV prank show, Punk'd. Timberlake, who was tricked into believing that his possessions were being taken away by the tax authorities, seemed totally devastated — for a minute there, he was known as The Man Ashton Kutcher Almost Made Cry.

''I'll give you a little hint on that Punk'd thing,'' Timberlake says. ''That was back in my first-album creative days. That's why I looked the way I did, if that makes any sense to you.''

Can I confirm what you're saying here?

''I don't give a s---.''

Were you stoned?

''Incredibly,'' he laughs. ''Yeah, that was a trippy experience. That was why I was completely glassyeyed.... As a matter of fact, I was like, Okay, I got to stop doing this.... I don't do that anymore.''

Ohhh, Love Stoned, indeed.

I think Punked was a very humiliating show, I can not say I did not laugh my butt off a few times watching it, but I would not be happy with Ashton if he punked me. I actuall find the show a tad disturbing.

I like Punk'd because it shows celebs as they really are when their publicists aren't around to cover up the celebs nutty behavior. Like the one with Ashanti, where she was just a total biotch to the driver. You just know that's how she really treats people. Sometimes I feel bad for the peeps, but mostly I just laugh. Although I would cry if someone tried to take my dog Smiling

He is making an excuse. Doesn’t it matter how successful JT becomes, people are will always ask him about crying on punk’d. It is something he will never overcome.

As Kierkegaard said, it is mandatory for the self-responsible human being to take reflection and move past the aesthetic life into the ethical life. It is obvious that Justin's problems in the past with drugs and woman could be attributed to a wholly aesthetic life and lack of self-responsibility. By owning up to such actions and taking a self-inventory, it seems that Justin has moved past the phase in his life that Kierkegaard would've labeled as 'aesthetic' and into the 'ethical' portion. Then, of course, Kierkegaard would've advocated a leap of faith into the final, religious, portion of life, but I won't get into that here.

    OMG!!!!
I totally agree with what Luxifer said... And I think Justin is trying to justify the fact that he was a crying baby in Punk'd that's why he is saying he was stoned (and maybe he was), but C'mon!!! Grow up!!! that's so not cool either

I'd cry too if the IRS came and took away all my stuff! Why pretend you were on drugs, JT? I remember that epi and he seemed far from high. Ok, maybe calling his Mom was a bit much, but I still call my Mom when my life isn't going great.
Justin, it's ok for me to cry! LOL

whatever princess....i like JT but using the stoner excuse is so lame....I have been a weed smoker since 15 ( I am 26 ) and statements like this shows me that he's smoked about 4 times total in his life...I find that I take it easy when I smoke (which is when my day is totally over and I am in my apt) and this kid was calling mommy, crying, pacing, getting all excited over this when in reality a true stoner would've said "hey man, you say this, I say this..i'll prove you wrong on monday but for now I am checking into the nicest hotel nearby and buying a frickin POUND of weed for my losses"...JT, you're a premie

So his excuse for crying on Punk'd was he was stoned? I figure he would have laughed then.
You'd think if he was a stoner, he'd be cooler.

Not everyone gets the same effect when smoking weed (jaan_black). Granted, munchies is unavoidable, lol and some people get paranoid. But, if you were high and arrive home to find out everything is being taken from you, you would freak out. You surely wouldn't be laughing.
