I prefer Ashlee over Jessica but I think its unfortunate that she felt plastic surgery was needed to improve her looks.

I think she's young and evolving. She started out as a grunge teenager and now she's a very pretty young woman. So what if she got a nose job its so common now days what's the big deal!

I think it's a big deal just because she is a role model and she was in a magazine saying how you need to love yourself for being unique and beautiful in your own way AND then that week she got this plastic surgery done on her face! I dunno it's just a huge contradiction. She could have just said that she was insecure with her looks and wanted to feel better about herself. That would have made her more relatable. I also think that plastic surgery is a "quick fix" and is pretty damn shallow. Spending that much money on the outside when really something is clearly wrong with the inside.
