Cute dress, but I don't know that I would pay over $200 for something that looks like a drape.

It is such a shame that people like LC, although I like her, is able to get her own line, go on Letterman, have a television show. She really and truly doesn't deserve what has been dropped in her lap... I believe in people paying dues and she is one lucky girl.

I must say that I do like Lauren...here's a girl that TRULY made a career out of being a reality tv star, and she didn't have to be a sleaze to do it!!!

I don't like her at all. Lauren isn't very talented and she is a major drama queen. Her clothes are fug. Especially this dress. I commend her for not being like Paris Hilton but she is not that great either. David Letterman will let anyone on his show. They could be digging holes in the street and he will have them on his show.

For some reason she is probably the one celeb that I cannot stand, and I have no idea why because I have never even seen her show.

Is she an actor? No....she's on 'reality TV'.
Is she a singer? no, Heidi mangled that one. Lucky us.
Is she a clothing designer? Depends on whose opinion. My 12 year old sister has more style then that.

yeah, Lauren is darn lucky ... but she's also smart for using all the opportunities she has to her advantage, and like someone said, she didn't have to sleep around to do so, so good for her. I always welcome people that use their brain and not their body.

I was surprised to see her on there while I was watching last night.
While I like her, I don't really consider her a celebrity, but whatev.
She looked cute, acted cute/ditzy,
and David Letterman didn't seem to know much about her,
while he did seem interested in talking to her.
I think he thought she was cute! haha.

One thing I like about LC is that her goal (Unlike Kristen Cavallari and Heidi) was not to be famous She did not audition for Laguna Beach when the Love triangle took off they offered her the title "character" and presented the show from her POV. The same with The Hills. MTV approached her about chroncling her life in fashion school. Her goal was always to be a designer. SO I can respect her in that way.

Even with her sucess she is not trying to change courses into acting or modeling or singing. She is pursuing her passion for fashion

I can't blame her for taking the opportunity coming her way (although I think there are more talented people in the world who aren't as lucky), if I were her, I'd probably do the same and no way I'm going to pull a Heidi Montag.
As much as I would love $$ and more opportunity, there's NO WAY I'm going to go that far.

For some people who call her 'lucky,' I suppose it depends, her personal life doesn't look too great, when it comes to regards of boys and friends (although I think being able to afford all sort of designer duds and live in a swanky mansion probably made up for it).

As for her 'line,' eh, OVERPRICED. I like some of her designs, but I'm not buying them due to the price.
