i used to like her. but ever since I saw the Black Dahlia and realized what a horrible actress she is..im just over her. And I would never want to hear her sing...I agree with pinkflats, she tries way to hard to be one of the cool kids.

The photos aren't very flattering-- especially the one with the black tights... it's a true disservice to make her look like that.

Well she seems to sing very well. Okay she maybe don't have the "Celine Dion" or "Whitney Houston" voice, but she sings well.

She did a song with a lot of other actors and actresses on an album. The sample is good. But I hope their songs are good and not only the voice, because if not, it will be not good for her future singer career.

I agree, her acting is terrible. That movie with Woody Allen was almost torture to sit though. He made it unbearable too. His style of acting was back in the 60's-70's, it's so unnecessary now and very annoying.

Bad actress? Have any of you guys seen Lost In Traslation, Girl with a Pearl Earring or Match Point?She's had her up and downs in her career, that's for sure, but she is a great actress. She's not exaggerated, but that doesn't mean she's not good. Maybe the fact that she's considered sexy and also acts sexy makes people doubt about her acting skills.

About her singing skills... I'll tell you when I listen to the CD. She's probably not Norah Jones, but she has a sweet voice.

I don't think she's a bad actress...I loved her, and JRM MORE, in Match Point, and she was fabulous in Girl With the Pearl Earring. I actually liked Scoop...it's a nice movie to watch on a rainy day...when I'm not watching Requiem for a Dream, that is.

Well I think Scarlett is cute. I am not interested in hearing her sing or watching her act. However I like her and she is sweet. As long as she doesn't get on my nerves I am happy for her. I will give her a chance.

It's been a long while since I've seen a flattering picture of Scarlett and those are probably the worst of them all! In my opinion, she is EXTREMELY overrated and a bad actress. I won't judge until I hear her voice but must say that I do not have high hopes in this regards...

i'm sure there's some merit to her ability as a singer -but to be honest, the cover isn't doing it for me. i'm used to either a more glam version of scar-jo or the jeans and t-shirt style - not the country bumpkin

Yah, Marlon was really good which, lets be honest, was a surprise. I doubt that many people would even think about him for more dramatic roles which is a shame. The whole plot with Ellen is just heartbreaking!

I liked her in Ghost World, lol. Now she just seems kinda.. big... compared to everyone else in her movies. Hard to explain, I don't mean she's fat. It's just the scale of people in Hollywood movies is smaller and "normal" sized people just don't seem to fit.

But I would notice that -- I won't cut my hair shorter because it won't be in proportion with the rest of my body and I'm scared I'll look like a monster or carry small purses cause they're not proportional. Meh.
