Eyeing Alba's Baby Bump

Jessica Alba showed off the essential baby bump pose at the premiere of The Eye in Paris yesterday. The movie didn't do so well in the states, but there's always a chance it could be a big hit overseas, right? Jessica has made the most of her trip abroad — exploring the sights, checking out Fashion Week, and indulging in the food. Yum. She blogged on MySpace all about it:

Hey guys, I am now in Europe promoting to "the eye." LAST TRIP!!! Went to the Lanvan [sic] show and the Rodin museum in Paris...amazing. Also saw Amy Whinehouse [sic] perform. She has such an incredible voice. She's definitely a throwback...reminiscent of Ella. I am currently getting my makeup done to go to the premiere of my movie. Can't wait to get home and rest. Every day I have eaten ham and cheese sandwiches, I cant get enough of them. Wish they had these back in the states, the bread is amazing. My tummy is getting bigger by the second and the little one must like the food too because it is moving and kicking like crazy. ITS THE BEST. Have to go but just wanted to check in. JA

While everything does taste better in Paris and those pregnancy cravings must be fierce, someone should probably tell her that ham and cheese sandwiches aren't that hard to come by back home in LA. It sounds like she could use a little rest and relaxation waiting for baby at home with a sandwich in hand.

someone should tell her that she didn't need to have that much eye makeup for 'the eye' premiere. Looks weird but the dress is pretty.

Pretty sure she's talking about croque monsieur sandwiches, which are made with ham and cheese, but are not a "ham and cheese sandwich." They're really great, also one thing I missed when returning from Paris.

You can get a croque monsieur here too. Most French bistros make them.

Oh, there are at least 5 places in walking distance from me right now where I can get a Croque, and trust me I am far from France.

Sheesh, again, another moronic comment out of this one's mouth.

She looks gorgeous here, but I have a big, irrational problem with people who don't know when to use "it's" and when to use "its."

I wonder if "Whinehouse" was intentional? Smiling

She is a dumb twit but I read somewhere else she was implying the baguette she eats with ham and cheese is unique to Paris- not quite, but what do yo expect. Maybe for the health of her babe and her appetite, she should stay in Paris Eye-wink
She can't even spell "Lanvin" when she was at the show?

I'm so glad she got to go to the Lanvin show even though she can't spell it right and people like me who are fashion-obsessed can't attend!

She sounds dumb but I have to agree that the bread in Paris is amazing. Try as they might, the French bakeries in the US do not come close.

seriously. if she has enough money to go to a lanvin show, take in the amazing fashion that paris has to offer, then maybe she should learn to freaking spell the name! i would die if i got to go to any show like that and here is this stupid chick going. ugh.

she's a monet. looks good from far away, but when you get up close, you can start seeing her age. dress is very pretty, but she's wearing it, so i'm taking a few points off the dress.

The good news? she looks very pretty here. The bad news? Why do people think just because blogging can be an informal communication tool, IT'S ok to forget basic grammar and punctuation rules?

Not talking about you, Betty, but can we all agree to stop using the word 'amazing'? It is soooo overused that it has lost all meaning. For instance, the AlbaDemon refers to the Rodin museum AND bread as both being AMAZING. Aaaargh!

"You can't fix stupid." LOVE THAT!!!!!!

I don't know where you live but you can get fabulous baquettes in NYC and a croque is not made with a baquette.

wow she really looks preggo there - it's interesting for me to see that people can look so not-preggo one day and poof they are bulguing out the next. the dress isn't the best for her boobs though - but i guess it's hard when you're expecting to find a dress that works well everywhere.

i hope the movie does better overseas - she deserves a success.

First it's" baguette" not baquette and secondly she's not referring to croque but jambon-beurre,google it and you'll see what i /she means.
