It is kinda weird that they never bring her out... I mean, not out to parties, obviously, but for a casual day out strolling and drinking coffee would be that hard to stick her in a pram or a little, you know, baby carrier / sling / backpack thingy?

I don't see what's wrong with them going out for nights on the town. I'm sure Harlowe isn't being deprived of anything because Nicole and Joel go out for a couple of hours at night. She looks good at the moment, hope she stays at this weight.

They have been so cute since Nicole got pregnant.They really look so much in love and it's nice that they spend time together.Sometimes there are problems between lovers when they have a baby because the mum doesn't care about the father, only the baby.

The gossip magazine will always criticize celebrity parenting. If a celebrity goes out in public with one kid then they MUST be ignoring the other ones. Either way the kid is going to suffer! Her parents are going to be able to afford a good education and opulent lifestyle no doubt.

I've always liked her hair styles and color choices. I'm not sure why she's famous other than the fact she's Paris Hilton's friend and her weight status used to be (or still is) controversial though.

I think people need to lay off them. She prob stays up most nights feeding Harlow and they both prob spend a lot of time with her, but they need time alone too. Doesn't mean that they don't like spending time with the baby, that's just silly.
At least they seem to really love each other.. unlike the other twin and his wh*re.

I am actually glad that they don't bring their baby out. Their every move is photographed by Paparazzi and I can't imagine subjecting my newborn baby to that.

Also, allow me as a parent to inform those of you without children. You still need your time with your husband, otherwise - kiss your marriage goodbye. Happy parents = happy kids. Keep the passion. It's very easy to give into the role of "Mom" and forget that you are a woman and a wife who once really enjoyed her husband too.

I think it's okay that they not taking their baby out in public yet - cos i'm sure she's still quite little and also we all know how crazy the paps get esp when there haven't yet been any public pics of the kid.
I always thought it was a bit fame-seeking for those parents who do the photoshoots for People et al , with their babies, but now i think that's the better way to go, at least they get the photos out the way they want to , then hopefully the paps won't be hassling them so much cos the photos wouldn't be exclusive.

Hotstuff I agree 100%, we don't see Harlow because she means money to them, once the photo spread comes out Harlow will be allowed to see the world. I doubt that neither Christina Aguilera nor Nicole Richie are "born parents" (I feel that way with Keri Russel, Naomi Watts, etc.). Babies grow so fast, I know why most women WANT to stay at home and have a hard time leaving them, and a nanny and money don't make the difference

I think keep Harlow away from the media for the first bit of life is a smart idea. When they are ready to bring Harlow out they will. As far as Nicole's weight...she does look thin but I don't think she looks nearly as thin as she did pre-baby. I think if she stays at her current weight she will be fine. I hope she doesn't feel any pressure to lose more then what she already has.

I wonder what is so lovely about Joel to get two such hotties as Nicole and Hilary. Nicole is beautiful. I think she has looked hot in every pic since she announced her pregnancy and after delivery. Hopefully she is satisfied with he current body. I am so jealous!

I think it's a godd idea to keep the baby under wraps, be it for money or for safety she doesn't need all the camera flashing just yet.

It's stupid for Nicole to get flack about going out, cause when she does she been looking tired so it's obvious that she is mothering when she is at home.

i'm still incredibly skeptical about the whole baby thing - since she's soo tiny already, she's out partying all the time and we haven't seen pics of her. oh well.

If I were Nicole I wouldn't bring Harlow out in public at her age either. Nicole is literally hounded with no space for her to even walk around. Does anyone remember Britney Spears almost dropping Sean P. because there were too many paps around? That is scary to a mom, I am sure.

And as for them going out, who's business is that but their own? As long as they have their priorities straight and care for the baby when they are home, should it matter? You don't have to be attached-at-the-hip to your children to be a good parent. Going out with your sig. other sans baby is probably healthy for their relationship and for the baby. Keeps everyone sane and happy.

She is looking thin already, didn't she learn anything from all those pre-baby doctors appointments. You need to weight a bit more to have the energy to keep up with a little one. Well, I guess not if you have a staff to take care of her.

I can think of other new celeb mothers who aren't selling their baby pictures (Isla Fisher, Naomi Watts...) and who had no problems with taking their new born little one out and about, paparrazi or no paparazzi.

I think Nicole is followed around more than Isla or Naomi. Also some mothers don't take their babies out of the house much until they are a few months old. I didn't take my son out much until he was 3 months. So to each their own as long as the baby is cared for I'm not sure what the big deal is.

Crystal made a great point. Isla and Naomi are not followed around like Nicole is. I watched that thing on Nicole from the Tyra Banks show and it was crazy how many there are surrounding her. I would not subject my newborn to something like that.

And do we even know if they are trying to sell their baby pictures to any tabloid? I think they wouldn't have a problem getting any amount of money since this is the most sought after baby this year (to which they would prob. give it to their charity).

I think the only safe thing we could criticize Nicole for regarding her child and going out so much is is she having too much caffine and alcohol (if she is even drinking alcohol) to mess with her breast milk.

Other that that issue, I think it's safe to say that we don't know what goes on behind closed doors and we shouldn't be judging her parenting skills.

For the people who are concerned about her weight - the article states that because she is nursing she has had to eliminate many foods due to Harlow's sensitive system. It says there is so much she can't eat because of this. Somehow I doubt she's consuming alcohol and caffeine yet eliminating milk.
