I really want to win this! My roommate and I have been joking lately about how we would do anything for a Wii!

I have issues with the game Who's the Bigger Douche? Tom Cruise is the biggest douche in the world. His doucheness supercedes all other douchebags.

I don't really get how this works. How can my opinion of who is cuter be right or wrong? Can someone explain the rules or the criteria for judging cuteness?

Honestly I don't understand how any of the face-off games work either. I wish someone would explain it to me too.

I never do well in the games, it's too subjective I think. Good to know I don't have to do well to have a shot! I would be voted "Best Mom EVER!!" at my house if I managed to win a wii!

Just pick one or the other. It is subjective, but after you play for a bit you can see who's rated higher than others and vice versa.

I generally agree on the ProjRun one, but not on the Douchebag one. I've not done the cute one. It's not supposed to be very easy.

Is the number of entries the sum of all of our high scores from each game, or just the highest score from any of the games?

Also, I think that the faceoff games are just an initial rank which is modified in some feedback oriented algorithm. For example: if everyone starts selecting hilary swank as the more famous, regardless of the opponent, eventually she will rise in the rankings to be #1. Obviously no single person has much of an influence... it has to be a collective trend. I'm guessing this is why there's so much emphasis on the games right now since this information is essentially a real time index of "fame" (people would probably fork over a few pennies for access to it)

I'm unsure as well. From what I can tell, our pick is generally what the overall consensus opinion is? Like the Who's Cuter - isn't it all subjective? One person's opinion of cute might not be the same as mine. And are we judging from the pics used in the game, or our overall opinion of the couple? Am I overanalyzing this?

I hate "Which Girls Name Is The Most Popular?" game, I never guessed right, I finally just picked a side and clicked it every time and managed to get 2 in a row right.

I think castille is right. The game just works based on who has been selected more times. It them ranks people from that. For example, if Britney Spears is ranked as more famous than Lindsay Lohan and Lindsay Lohan is ranked as more famous than Paris Hilton, Britney will be more famous than Paris. Who is more famous/cute/etc. depends on how many people have chosen that particular person/look over the other choice. If you play the Oscar fashion face-off, you will see that it gives you percentages on the side of how many people agreed with you. If the majority of people agreed with you, you are right. If the majority of people disagreed with you, you are wrong. Therefore, the "correct" answers could change as time goes on. It is more likely for the newer games (i.e. Project Runway, Oscar fashion) to change than the ones that have been around for a while. (i.e. "Who is more famous?"
