Why is that going to rehab is a frenzy now?

I think Heaths sudden death has had an effect (quite rightly) on the stars.. We don't know what they get up too but we have some idea.. and when you can go, have and do everything where do you stop? She clearly feels she need to be there so good one her and I hope she feels better soon.

agree with tototee.Heath's death has set an alarm for the stars who have real problems to deal with.

i still think that it's weird that we didn't know she even had any issues - but that's hollywood for you - you don't know things that most people don't want you to know. and after watching the dr drew thing - i can see that even smoking pot will get you into a good rehab. i wish the best for her!

for some reason she's the only star who's been in rehab lately who i can actually bring myself to care about. sounds harsh but yeah. and i agree with the idea that heath's death is causing a lot of stars to take a harsh look at their own lives. all around it's just so sad.

and question: i don't really know anything about rehab, but are you really supposed to be able to come and go as you please? i mean, i know there's an element of putting people back in their old lives to get used to it and stuff, but doesn't it seem like they should just be locked away for a period of time? *shrugs* i don't know.

What is she in for? I wish they would disclose it, otherwise we all assume the worst I think.

amers230 - ideally, if you check into a rehab center you should completely surrender to it if you are REALLY trying to be free of your addiction(s). However, most of the time, these places can't hold you against your will. By court order some people have to go and stay x amount of days, but they wouldn't be in a posh facility like this place. I see this place as more of a retreat than a rehab.

I don't see her with a street-drug addiction, like Amy Winehouse. I see her with a pills addiction. So yeah - Heath's accidental overdose may have triggered a moment of realization in her that it could have been her. I also have some other theories, but I'm already starting to sound like a 900-number-psychic hotline wannabe.

I can't help but think that much of this is a publicity stunt for her. Not saying that she doesn't have a problem but she's been in rehab for weeks now, no one knew about it. Then all of a sudden a statement is released this week and here she is out on the streets.

Publicity stunt fo sho. She probably thought she'd make news when first entering and when she didn't a statement had to be released.

Like I said before - she's irrelevant. She's probably not getting any job offers and was hoping to get a bit of a boost from the publicity.

Either way, I hope she gets whatever help she needs, be it mental or otherwise.

She probably left rehab to go grab a quick 8ball and drink.

If anyone is in a treatment center, they shouldnt be in and out on business. Its all bullsh*t.

But i finally get to see her boyfriend she's always talking about.... i see why we haven't seen him in awhile.

i like her, she's very vibrant and friendly in her interviews. she might show a little too much skin at times, but i like that she's spontaneous and like she enjoys life. i hope she gets through this, i want to see her in more movies, i think she's a decent actress.

I really respect that before she went to rehab no one KNEW that she had a problem (or atleast I didn't). I wish her all the luck!

cru5h: thanks, that what i thought. well, if it works i guess that's fine, it just seems like to really kick a serious addiction you'd need to stay in a safe environment for an extended period of time. didn't she just go in a few weeks ago?
