I really like how she's fit and pretty without being frighteningly thin. Now that's a good example to show to young girls who look up to her.

I can't believe she got the #1 spot on Radar's fashion maven list? Ya she's cute but her style is PAINFULLY BORING!!! There is nothing interesting about her clothes or how she puts anything together. I don't get it???

I sure think she is a great addition to the fashion industry. Like Jude C said, she is fit (not startlingly skinny) and everything she has done so far fashion wise is hip and trendy. I love her!!

She's got a lot of money, so she buys expensive things. That doesn't mean she has great style.

Her clothes look like anything you can buy anywhere and they are way over priced. I just don't see where she gets off with those prices and people buy them. When I see a real celebrity wear her line, then I will think her stuff is something special!!!!

It's a shame that people who actually have talent have to spend years and work harder than she ever will to achieve their goals, but this... nobody got thrust onto our TV screens by MTV, and the sheep of the media decide to just hand her everything she ever wanted on a plate, without having to do much at all.
I think the bag is frighteningly plain and ugly, it's nothing new :/ Just plays into how dumb people are when they decide to be utterly into someone just because they see them on TV.

It's rather disheartening that it seems only people who are played up by the media get what they want. I wonder if she is able to do the financial and mathematical aspects of Fashion. Probably not. I bet she held up a bag she already had and said "omg like... make the handle..like.. a chain or something.. its hot..like, wow its really hot.. want a Starbucks? then like..make it a different colour...like make it big enough to fit a tiny dog inside and my oversized sunglasses..."

Yea she seems nice on the show but I agree, there are many people who are way more talented than she is, works 100x hard for a long time and still not get the press/opportunity she has. sad and frustrating really.

I love her classic and simple style. I am glad that she did a collection that all young women can wear. It is amazing that people would rag on her because for whatever reason MTV wants to tape part of her life and millions of people wants to watch it and she had an opportunity to do a clothing line and she went for it. What is she supposed to do, just remain a reality tv star all her life? People needs to get over themselves, her lines is actually better than most of these real celebrities attempt at a collection. I hope she continues to grow with this line and even do a second more dressy line.

I absolutely love Lauren. She is beautiful, laid-back, humble, and doesnt let the LA scene get to her. She is definitely a good role model for young women. Lauren proves that you dont have to be stunningly beautiful, tooth-pick thin, and have some type of drug addiction to be famous. Once a normal high school student, she proves that things amazing happen to ordinary girls. Plus, love her fashion line. It is a bit over-priced, but worth it, knowing that Lauren Conrad inspired the pieces! WAY TO GO LAUREN!!
