I read in Star (I know, not exactly the NY Times) that she had her security detail go in and clean up the illegal drugs that were at the scene before the police were called.

There are so many conspiracy theories...let him RIP. The toxicology reports will tell us what the cause was and if there were illegal drugs in his system. The tabs are pure crap spinning the story into something more than what it is.

I've never been a huge fan of hers, but I do feel bad for her. She can't be too distraught is she's out partying every night in NYC though.

I feel badly for her... she has to feel somewhat guilty though, I would think... just being friends, knowing his demons, and not doing anything. Something about that whole situation is shady...I don't trust her and I wouldn't be surprised if she was more involved than she admits.

I totally agree something is shady with her involvement with heath, and it bugs me the police have said they wont question her. If she was anything other than a celeb, every detail would have long been gotten out of her skeletal arse.

I wouldn't feel the least bit sorry for her. Why didn't Mary Kate scream into the phone, Call 911 instead of sending over her security detail. It must of made some sort of sense to her at the time, but not to the rest of us. Mary Kate probably feels bad from the standpoint of what this might do to her public image. My sympathies are with Heath's family, Mitilda and Michelle.

I really dont get why the maid called HER...she wasnt even in NY. I agree that there is something fishy going on there. And as for her clothes....who cares people! LOL

MK Olsen obviously has her vices but I get why the maid would call her private security. To avoid getting the media mixed in early. Everyone in Hollywood has an addiction one way or another no matter what. Some people learn to live with their addictions while other's over-come them. As WE ALL DO! I can't say I blame her for trying to hide underneath all this. No one would ever want to have their named tied to a death famous or not.

They said they won't interrogate her? Now that's not fair, she shouldn't get special treatment. There's something that doesn't make sense about her involvement in the hole situation and she should explain that. I'm not saying she's guilty of anything, but I agree with RiceGirlReese, if she wouldn't be a celebrity, the police would have interrogated the hell out of her.

sometimes i just can't tell these 2 apart. i feel bad for her - how she's been thrown into the spotlight becuase she was friends with heath and all that. ugh...it's hard enough that she has to deal with losing a close friend - but to have all the additional speculation makes things even harder

Maybe the police did question her, but felt the need to keep it PRIVATE, unnlike anything else that went down with that whole situation.

I've been wondering lately why there is this need to create a conspiracy theory every time a celebrity passes away too soon and unexpectedly.

The wild and sometimes baseless speculation is worthy of a TV Movie of the Week. Especially when we decide to take the rumours and speculation reported as 'fact' by tabloid magazines and spread those rumours and speculation and expand on them. And the real details are rarely released during an investigation unless the police feel that releasing such information in the midst of the investigation can bring forward more information, evidence and witnessess, despite the status of the victim or anyone else involved.

Of course, speculation IS fun....heck I like to dive into historical mysteries like the death of the Two Princes and the life and times of the Borgias, and I've always enjoyed the still rampant speculation surrounding the untimely death of Marilyn Monroe.

People speculate because of the unusual things that surround these occurences. The vast majority of people would, upon seeing a lifeless body, call 911 immediately - not their boss, and then their boss's body guards.

This is true. After all, Lana Turner called her family doctor, lawyer and I think a studio person after her daughter stabbed her lover. And Marilyn Monroe's housekeeper called, I think, her shrink.

It's not unusual in Hollywood, but I still wonder about the intensity of speculation and some of the more outrageous items.

That being said, I know when one of my neighbours had a heart attack, his wife ran across the street to another neighbour before calling 911. Panic and uncertainty of what the procedure should be can sometimes be the root of why someone did what they did.

I think everyone is really just running wild with this. Most of what we heard is PURE speculation, how do any of you know that Mary Kate didnt tell the woman to call 911? How do any of you know anything about this situation, besides what you read in a magazine? The story wouldnt sell as well unless there was some kind of scandal, so they better make it sound like a scandal. And anyway,even if all this stuff is true...how is it possibly Mary-Kates fault that the woman called her and not 911?! I mean really...Im not a fan of the twins, but some people will look for any excuse to hate on others.
